A frost advisory is in effect tonight through Saturday morning for Ellis County and much of southwest and west-central Kansas.

The advisory remains in place until 8 a.m. Saturday, according to the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BTUw8Beei/">National Weather Service in Dodge City</a>. Overnight temperatures are expected to drop to around 36 degrees.

Saturday’s forecast calls for sunny skies with a high near 71 and a low of 44. Sunny conditions are expected to continue until Monday, when chances for thunderstorms begin to increase.
