SHERMAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 8p.m. Saturday in Sherman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Chrysler Town & Country driven by Domingo Perez, 79, Kanorado, was westbound on. Old U.S. Highway 24 at County Road 5. The van rear-ended a trailer pulled by 2016 Ford F550 driven by Taylor Thomas Scott, 23, Burlington, Colorado.
After impact the van traveled into the north ditch, then came back onto the road and rolled into the south ditch.
EMS transported Perez to the Goodland Regional Medical Center. Scott was not injured. Perez was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
