The Hays High girls' soccer team landed five players on the All-Western Athletic Conference team announced Wednesday.
Senior Katie Dinkel is on the first team along with junior Arely Maldonado and sophomore Dani Willeford. Senior Aspen Melvin and freshman Kinslee Newell were named to the second team.
Willeford and Maldonado led HHS with 20 goals apiece. Willeford added a team-best 11 assists and scored a total of 51 points this spring. Maldonado tallied 45 points.
Dinkel was second on the team with 10 assists and Newell finished third on the squad with 14 goals.
Hays High finished the season 13-5 overall, losing to Andover Central in the regional finals.
