Walter Franklin McCormick Jr. was born November 28, 1934, in Muskogee, 
OK. He passed away October 6, 2021, in Lenora, KS at the age of 86.
 Walter married Stella Louise Porter on July 17, 1971, in Reno, NV. He
 worked as a truck driver, hauling for Hanes Industry. Walter enjoyed 
visiting family and friends before the long trips became too painful.
 Walter was preceded by his parents, wife, Stella, daughter, Debby 
Smith, sons, Johnny and Kenny Northern and siblings: Eileen, Orlen, and 
Skip. He is survived by his daughters, Donna Jones of Lenora, and Dee 
Pepper of Shawnee, OK; son, Arther Northern of Phoenix, AZ; 
grandchildren: Mathew, Crystal, BJ, Vincent, Cortina, Nichole, Dalton, 
Taylor, Ashley, Nicholas, Casey, Garrett, and Ariahne, and 10 
great-grandchildren.
