Fort Hays State men's basketball has received a commitment from Mill Valley senior JaKhai Carter.
The 6'2" point guard capped his high school career as a 1,000-point scorer. He averaged 11.6 points, 3.3 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game for an 18-5 Mill Valley team that spent much of the season ranked among the state’s top 6A squads.
Carter averaged 14.0 points and 3.0 assists per game as a junior,..
