TREGO COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 9p.m. Monday in Trego County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Acura ILX driven by Ralph Harding, 63, Colorado, was entering Interstate 70 from the on ramp at Collyer. The driver made an illegal U-turn and began driving eastbound in the westbound lanes.
A 2016 Freightliner semi driven by Dilshod Usmonov, 34, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, struck the Acura head-on.
EMS transported Harding to the Gove County Medical Center. Usmonov was not injured. Harding was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
