Sunflower Electric Power Corporation is excited to announce the promotion of William Wylie to vice president of safety and supply chain.
In his new role, Wylie is responsible for leading Sunflower’s company-wide safety program and ensuring all safety functions and activities comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations enhancing the safety and health of employees and the public. Additionally, he directs the company’s supply chain operations by overseeing procurement, inventory management, and maintenance contracts. Wylie also manages facility operations across all corporate sites and leads the company’s fleet program and operations.

A native of Elkhart, Kan., Wylie holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration. He joined Sunflower as the senior manager of corporate services in 2020. Wylie and his wife, Shannon, reside in Hays with their sons, Liam and Levi.
