Garden City is reporting winds over 70 mph with blowing dust.
Mad Dog Metals, a business west of Garden City, lost its roof, and debris is in the roadway blocking the road to Holcomb.
Garden City is also reporting power outages.
Hays reported no power outages as of 1:30 p.m., but a handful of outages were reported as of that time across the Midwest Energy Service area.
