Sunflower Electric Power Corp. has promoted Hannah Hilker to manager of talent development.
Hilker will be responsible for working with employees, departments and the organization to facilitate values and leadership development to enhance performance, productivity and employee engagement. She will manage talent retention, corporate training and succession planning strategies and efforts.
Hilker was instrumental in leading company-wide recruitment and staffing initiatives, ensuring ongoing development of new methods to attract talent. She has a strong communication background, experience with recruitment and succession planning, experience with culture initiatives and an extensive background in corporate training. She also has a demonstrated commitment to western Kansas through volunteer initiatives as a three-year board member on the Western Kansas Human Resource Management Association (WKHRMA), a former Ambassador with the Hays Chamber and various other leadership roles.
