
Larry Sheldon Cronk, 80, died on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at his home
in Deerfield. He was born on May 11, 1940 at Santa Monica, California
the son of Donovan K. & Blanche (Sheldon) Cronk. He married July A.
Florce on November 9 1958 at Reno, Nevada.
Larry graduated from Campbell High School in California and joined the
United States Navy where he served as a Senior Corpsman at Oak Knoll
Hospital in Oakland, California. After his discharge he attended a
trade school and became a Union electrician. He went to work for
Cupertino Electric Company as an apprentice and worked his way up to
become Service Manager. He then became self employed and started
Freedom Electric in San Jose, California. He retired early and in 1998
he moved to Deerfield. Larry was a member of the Flying For Fun Club
where he enjoyed his passion of racing homing pigeons. He had a love
for all animals, especially birds and passed on his enjoyment of bird
watching to his three girls. His most cherished times were spent with
his family close and his wife by his side.
He is survived by his Wife- Judy Cronk, 3 Daughters- Kim & Kirk
Maddux of Deerfield, Debra & Michael Fisher of Cedar Bluff and Dawn
& Zane Brady of Santa Barbara, California, 2 Sisters- Donna Randle
and Karen Gordon both of California, 6 Grandchildren and 3
Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents and
Grandson- Garrett Maddux.
There will be no services held at this time. Memorials are suggested to
St Jude Children’s Hospital in care of Garnand Funeral Home.
