🏀 Future FHSU Tigers help lead Blue to victory in KBCA All-Star Game

SALINA - A couple of future Fort Hays State women's basketball players teamed up to help the Blue team beat the Gold team 68-61 at the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Game Saturday at Kansas Wesleyan's Mabee Arena.

Goodland's Telexa Weeter, who was named Miss Kansas Basketball after helping the Cowgirls to an undefeated season and second straight Class 3A state title, led all scoring with 14 points.

Avery Lowe, who is a graduate of Maize South, added 10 points.

Bishop Carroll's Landon Forbes, another FHSU signee, scored six points for the Gold before fouling out.

TMP-Marian grad and Barton Community College signee Jaci VonLintel played but didn't score for the Blue team. Quinter's Anna Briggs scored four points for the Gold team.
