CHEYENNE COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 11a.m. Tuesday in Cheyenne County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Kia passenger vehicle driven by Leslie S. Reneau, 71, Laird, Colorado, was northbound on Kansas 27 twelve miles north of St. Francis.
The vehicle's passenger side tires went off the roadway to the right. The driver overcorrected and the KIA traveled off the roadway to the left. The driver overcorrected again and the vehicle rolled into the west ditch.
EMS transported Reneau to the hospital in St. Francis. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
