LANE COUNTY —Two teens were injured in an accident just after 7:30a.m. Thursday in Lane County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Jeep Patriot driven by Christopher Douglas Roberts, 17, Dighton, was westbound on Kansas 4 at the Kansas 23 Junction.
The driver failed to yield the right of way and collided with the trailer of a southbound 2009 Kenworth semi.
After impact the Jeep spun counter clockwise and came to a stop in the northbound and southbound lanes of Kansas 23.
EMS transported Roberts and a passenger in the Jeep 15-year-old Dakota Lane Roberts of Dighton to the Lane County Hospital. The KHP did not identify the semi driver. The occupants of the Jeep were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
