Fort Hays State Men's Basketball moved back into the D2SIDA Top 25 on Tuesday (Jan. 4), holding the No. 22 ranking this week. FHSU continues to receive votes for the fourth straight edition of the NABC Top 25 Poll, receiving the fifth-most votes of teams outside of the Top 25.
The Tigers entered the D2SIDA Top 25 Poll for the first time this season at No. 23 back on December 14 and then fell back out of the poll on December 21 after their first loss of the season. The Tigers are back in the Top 25 week, even though they took their second loss of the season on Monday night at Rogers State. The results from games on Monday were not figured into this week's poll.
This is the highest the Tigers have been ranked in the D2SIDA Top 25 Poll, which began back in 2014-15, even though they have been ranked as high as No. 1 several times in the NABC poll during the program's NCAA Division II history. Fort Hays State has now held the No. 22, 23, and 24 rankings in the D2SIDA Poll during the eight-year history of the poll.
Below are the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball national polls for Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
