Former Ellis standout Tegan Cain has committed to play baseball at the University of Kansas. Cain made the announcement on Twitter Monday evening.

"I am so excited and blessed to announce my commitment to the University of Kansas to further my academic and athletic career. I want to thank all of my family, coaches, friends,and teammates who have impacted my life in making me the person and player I am today."

Cain was the Class 2-1A Player of the year in 2021. The hard-throwing right hander is 8-2 with a 3.52 ERA at Barton Community College this spring.
