Linda Ann Tittel, 74, of Russell, Kansas, died on Saturday, October 03, 2026, at the Main Street Manor in Russell.
Linda was born on January 08, 1952, in Sterling, Colorado, the daughter of Walter J., Jr. and Birdie (Hall) Oden. She grew up in Russell, Kansas, and graduated from Russell High School in the class of 1970. After high school, she graduated from Ft. Hays University in Hays, Kansas with a bachelor of science degree in Medical Technology. She was married to Tom Tittel and her and Tom raised two sons, Terry and Christopher. She worked for McDonalds in Russell for about 10 years. She was a member of Otterbein Global Methodist Church in Russell. She enjoyed fishing, working puzzles, her study and faith in God and being with her family.
Surviving family include her sons Terry Tittel (Emily) of Blythewood, South Carolina and Christopher Tittel (Perla) of Elsa, Texas; brother Walter Bruce Oden (Shelley) of Russell, Kansas; sisters Connie Sue Brack (Leon) of Iola, Kansas and Stacey L. Frimmel (Troy) of Wilson, Kansas and 2 grandchildren Adlin and Owen Tittel, and 3 nieces and 5 nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Tom.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, October 09, 2026, at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary in Russell, Kansas. Burial will follow at the Russell City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. Thursday, October 08, 2026, at the mortuary. Memorials may be given to the Main Street Manor Activity Fund and sent in care of the mortuary. Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell, Kansas, is in charge of the funeral service arrangements.
