NW Kansas man injured after pickup strikes semi, building.

GRAHAM COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 3p.m. Monday in Graham County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 GMC Sierra driven by James C. Thompson, 86, Bogue, was weaving northbound out of a parking lot just south of Palmeroy Street.

The pickup turned left onto U.S. 24 and into a westbound 1999 Kenworth semi driven by Timothy A.  Seifert, 60, Osborne. After impact the pickup spun, continued southbound and struck a building.

EMS transported Thompson to the Graham County Medical Center. Seifert was not injured. Thompson was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
