The Chamber in Hays, Kansas recently completed a successful search for the new administrative assistant position, which will replace the vice president of programs. After interviewing several strong candidates, The Chamber is pleased to announce that Marlis Fletcher will serve as its new administrative assistant effective Aug. 3.

Fletcher has an extensive background in customer services, sales, and office management. Community involvement is also near and dear to Fletcher as she currently serves as a Master Gardener in Ellis County, is a charter member of the United Way of Ellis County Wonder Woman’s League, and has also served a three-year term on the Hays Beautification Committee.

“I am excited to become a part of The Chamber and appreciate the opportunity to work with the members and help them succeed,” Fletcher said.

“Marlis brings a genuine eagerness to serve, passion, excitement, and attention to detail to our organization,” said The Chamber president/CEO, Sarah Wasinger.  “We could not be more elated for Marlis to join our team!”
