The veterans' organizations promote advocacy for veterans and their families, for the men and women who fought, died, and survived in decades of wars and conflicts throughout the world.

The veterans' posts continue to promote patriotism, civic responsibility, and support of youth and local programs in communities, state, and nation. The veterans continue to lift up the ideals of America's freedom through ceremonies, memorials, and in celebrations throughout the year.
