What is a Monarch Waystation?
Each fall, hundreds of millions of monarch butterflies migrate from the United States and Canada to mountains in central Mexico where they wait out the winter until conditions favor a return flight in the spring.
Monarch Waystations are places that provide resources necessary for monarchs to produce successive generations and sustain their migration. Monarchs require milkweed in spring and summer which are host plants for larvae and nectar from an array of fall flowers which are the energy sources for adults as they complete the migration.

We encourage all to go out and look at our pollinator garden. We will be posting periodically information about our pollinator garden and upcoming Monarch tagging event in September.
