⚾ Larks snap skid with four homers in run-rule win

HAYS - The Hays Larks snapped their first two-game losing streak of the season Friday, blasting four home runs in a 12-1 run-rule victory over the Fort Collins Foxes at Larks Park.

Sean Keenan led the offense with three of the Larks' 11 hits, including a first-inning grand slam that gave Hays an early 4-0 lead.

The Larks (21-4, 15-4 RMBL) added two runs in the fourth, one in the fifth and three more in the sixth on back-to-back home runs by Hutch Russell and Dylan LaRue. Cooper Holtorf capped the scoring with a two-run homer in the seventh to end the game by the run rule.

Hank Brown improved to 2-0, allowing one run on four hits while striking out eight and walking one in a complete-game effort.
