William (Bill) Seltmann, 85, passed away Monday, September 28, 2026, in Lacrosse, Kansas. He lived in Rush County nearly all of his life. Bill was born on September 13, 1941, in LaCrosse, the oldest son of ElVerne and Mary (Wilt) Seltmann. Bill worked for State Farm Insurance, Heiser Booster Station, and the state of Kansas, later farming and ranching full-time. He enjoyed community dances, car races, and attending his grandchildren’s games, recitals, and programs. Bill was an active member in his community. He attended many local sports events and enjoyed substitute teaching at several local schools. If you spent any time around him you likely had a lengthy conversion with him. He loved people and chatting.
