Kent Gene McJunkin

Kent Gene McJunkin, 60, passed away on January 28, 2021, at the Cedar Village Care Center in Ness City, Kansas.  He was born on March 1, 1960,  in Great Bend, Kansas, the son of Ivan and Ida (Nisly) McJunkin.

Following his father’s footsteps, Kent devoted his life to growing wheat and raising cattle in Ness County, Kansas. He was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Burdett, Kansas

He is survived by his three brothers, Kim McJunkin of Vancouver, Washington, Scott McJunkin of Burdett, and Kirk McJunkin and his wife, Susan, of Gold Hill, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at Faith Fellowship Church, Hanston.  Burial in the Crandall Union Cemetery, Bazine, Kansas.  Visitation will be held at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City on Monday, February 1, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be given to the KSU Cancer Research Foundation or the Faith Fellowship Church missionary fund.
