Hays received another 2 inches of snow Monday and set a new record low overnight of -14 degrees.
A wind chill warning is still in effect until noon today.
Hays received 8 to 9 inches of snow last Monday and Tuesday and another inch and a half on Thursday.
Today's forecast is for sunny skies but a high of only 20 degrees.
Wednesday's high is forecast at 31 degrees and Thursday's high is forecast at 26, before more arctic air drops the overnight lows into negative numbers again on Thursday night.
The high temperatures in Hays are not forecast to be above freezing until Sunday when the high is predicted to be 35 degrees.
No further snow is in the forecast through Monday.
Other area communities also broke records overnight.
