KDHE: Two new COVID cases in Ellis Co. since Friday

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Monday reported two new COVID-19 cases in Ellis County had been identified since Friday.

As of Monday morning, HaysMed reported 10 COVID inpatients, including one active and nine recovering cases.

The Kansas Hospital Organization reported on Feb. 23 that 54 percent of eligible Ellis County residents (5 and older) are fully vaccinated. 

Since reporting began, there have been 7,107 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 80 coronavirus-related deaths.
