The Hays Prairie Winds Kite Show took to the skies over the Bickle/Schmidt Sports Complex Saturday and Sunday. Hundreds of people came to watch the giant Prairie Wind kites or fly one of their own. Food trucks were also on hand.

The free event was sponsored by the Hays Convention &amp; Visitors Bureau and the Hays Recreation Commission.
