Republican Jason Krug won against Todd Schneider with 184 votes to 140 for Russell County Commissioner District 2. Democrat Brad Zweifel ran unopposed in the primary.
Incumbent Republican Duke Strobel defeated Teresa Brandenburg with 138 votes to 82 for Russell County Commissioner District 3. Democrat Charmarose Craven ran unopposed.
Republican Dean Haselhorst defeated candidate John Fletcher, who passed away in June, with 184 votes to 71 for County Commissioner District 4. Democrat Neil Unrein ran unopposed.
Republican Alan Kuntzsch is ahead by a single vote with 87 votes, while Anthony Mahoney received 86 votes for County Commissioner District 5. The election will be official after the Russell County canvas.
Kevin Mravinec received 64 votes, Mitch Driscoll had 60 votes, and Jamie Gage had 24 votes. Democrat Tom Mahoney ran unopposed.
Candidate Gage has a history of misdemeanors and said her promotional materials, including yard signs and large banners, have allegedly been stolen or defaced in the lead-up to the election.
