Hays Area Children’s Center
The Hays Area Children’s Center hosted a Back-to-School Bash on September 18 for their friends, families, and staff. Donations from local sponsors meant a night of free food and fun for all!

Each classroom had a basket theme and families donated toward filling the baskets. The classroom teachers will get the proceeds from their basket to apply toward their classroom budgets for the year. The themes were Game Day, Movie Night, Family Discovery Time, Family Game Night, and Gardening. The raffle also includes a Charcuterie Class valued at $500 donated by Grater Whey, a $50 Sonic gift card, and a girl's bike!
Thanks to K-State Extension, Cottonwood Extension District (Monique Koerner) for bringing the Blender Bike to do Spin-Art. Thanks to FHSU Union Catering (Phil Kuhn) for hot dogs and drink coolers. Thanks to Pepsi (Mandy Giess) for water and soda! Thanks to Nex-Tech for use of the train. Thanks to Taco Riendo for use of their bounce house and the time to set-up and tear-down! A great time was had by all!
