Marjorie V. (Morris) Rowe passed away Dec. 27, 2020 at the age of 98. She was born July 22, 1922 in Rural Bogue, Kan., to Frank and Blanche (Sandlin) Morris. She grew up in Hill City, Kan., where she graduated from high school and resided much of her life.

She married Warren I. Rowe Nov. 18, 1952. They shared 59 years of marriage until Warren’s death Aug. 16, 2012. Together, they had one son, Tim.

Marjorie spent most of her life as a homemaker. She and Warren were active members of the Hill City Christian Church, where she played the piano and organ, as well as provided meals for funerals and other church functions.

Marjorie also volunteered for the Graham County Hospital Auxiliary. She was involved with two federated clubs. Marjorie and Warren were devoted grandparents, attending many sporting events, 4-H fairs, concerts, and any other activities their grandkids were involved in.

In 2010, Warren and Marjorie moved to Salina, Kan., where they attended Belmont Boulevard Christian Church. They enjoyed being closer to their family and getting to spend more time with them.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Warren, and her parents Frank and Blanche Morris.

She is survived by her son, Tim (Julie) Rowe of Salina, along with granddaughter Lauren (Dalton) Harman of Dallas, and grandson Matthew (Jocelyn) Rowe, and her great-granddaughter, Claire, of Olathe, Kan.
