Ellis County
The Ellis County Public Works Road & Bridge Division has announced an asphalt overlay project on 240th Avenue will take place beginning at the intersection of Antonino Road and 240th Avenue and commencing north on 240th Avenue to Butterfield Trail. This area of 240th Avenue will be closed to through traffic beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, June 21, and will remain closed until the project is completed. The estimated completion date is Tuesday, June 22, pending weather conditions. Motorists traveling in the affected closure area should use alternate routes of travel until the project is completed. An unpaved detour will be designated.
