On Jan. 10, Chief Judge, Glenn Braun announced that Mike Smith would become the next district court administrator of the 23rd Judicial District. The 23rd Judicial District includes Ellis, Rooks, Trego and Gove counties. Smith was promoted from his previous position as the chief court services officer for the district.
“I am excited about the opportunity to lead the district at this time. There are a lot of positive changes coming to the court system, and I look forward to the challenge ahead,” Smith said.
