KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kaleb Hammeke was named the MIAA Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week, presented by Shift Group, for a second time this season on Monday. He helped the Tigers to road wins at Pittsburg State and Missouri Southern and reached a major milestone in the process.

During the win at Missouri Southern, Hammeke became just the fourth player in FHSU men's basketball history to have at least 1,000 points and 300 assists. He joined Raymond Lee (1,615 points, 899 assists), Craig Nicholson (1,449 points, 628 assists), and Mark Wilson (1,631 points, 556 assists) with his first of four assists in the game. He is just the ninth player in program history to pass the 300-assist mark. He now has 1,099 points in his career.
