Phillipsburg resident Lyle W. Allen passed away on Aug. 25, 2021, at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg at the age of 98.

Survivors include his son Patrick of Phillipsburg; two daughters, Michelle Brown of Lyons and Kay Medlin of Virginia Beach, Va.; his step-son Bob Van Allen of Albuquerque, N.M.; two step-daughters, Jeri Schmid of Agra and Barb Polfer of Leawood; his sister Edna Mangum of Jackson, Ga.; six step-grandchildren and numerous step great- and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30, in the First Christian Church, Phillipsburg, with Pastor LeRoy Herder officiating. The service will be streamed live on the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/Olliff-Boeve-Memorial-Chapel-158648587502325/">Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page</a>.&nbsp; Burial will follow in the&nbsp; West Cedar Cemetery with military honors by the Agra American Legion. The family will receive friends following the graveside at the Agra American Legion.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday with the family receiving friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, Hospice Services or the Agra Fire Department.
