On Saturday, December 11th, 2021, William Robert Stutz Jr., more commonly known as Bill, Slider Bill, or Billy Bob, went to his eternal home in Heaven at the age of 65. He passed peacefully with his two daughters and son in law by his side.

Bill was born September 20th, 1956, in Ransom, KS, to Bob and Pat Stutz. He attended college at both Kansas State and Emporia State for agriculture. In 1978, he started working for Mull Drilling Company, where he stayed and joyfully worked for a total of 43 years. Bill met his wife, Lynne, in September of 1988 at a Christian singles retreat called Camp Como in Colorado. Both he and Lynne had been invited by friends. They were married May 4th, 1991. Bill and Lynne raised two daughters, Olivia and Brenna.

After 28 years of living in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado, Bill and Lynne moved to Kingman, Kansas, in July of 2019. Bill enjoyed riding his motorcycles, playing foosball, playing cards and board games, racing, working in the oil field, and talking to others. Bill was best known for his kindness, sincerity, honesty, making a quick positive impression on strangers, being an intuitive problem solver, great driving skills, and most of all, his respect and love for God.

Bill is preceded in death by his mother, Pat, his father, Bob, and wife, Lynne.

He is survived by his older sister Cheryl (St. John, MO), younger sisters, Melody (Utica, KS) and Joy and her husband Steve Hembree (Great Bend, KS), younger brother Greg (Denton, TX), and oldest daughter, Olivia and her husband Edwyn Holguin (McPherson, KS), two grandsons EJ and Alejo, and his youngest daughter, Brenna (Pratt, KS).
