⚾ Larks cruise past Roughriders

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. - The Hays Larks scores 12 runs in the second inning and cruised to a 20-3 six inning run-rule win over the Colorado Roughriders Sunday.

Dylan Dreiling, Jackson Halter and Hunter Rosson homered in the second. Dreiling hit an opposite field blast to left to start the inning. Halter and Rosson went back-to-back to push the lead to 4-0. 

Leo Jiminian had three of the Larks 17 hits, all doubles. Halter drove in five runs.

Starting pitcher Austin Puett didn't allow a hit but walked five and allowed one earned run over three innings for the win.

The Larks wrap up their four-game Colorado road swing Monday night at the Gameday Saints.
