Postseason baseball for local 3-1A teams begins later this week.
The TMP-Marian baseball team earned the top overall seed in 2-1A Regional 4 and will host No. 16 Pratt-Skyline on Thursday at 5 p.m.
The winner of that game will face the winner of the No. 8 vs. No. 9 matchup between Elkhart and Medicine Lodge in the semifinals.
The bottom side of the bracket features No. 4 Bucklin/South Central vs. No. 13 Kinsley.
The winner of that game will face the winner between No. 5 Little River and No. 12 Sublette in the semifinals.
The two semifinal winners will play for a trip to the 2-1A state tournament.
Plainville is the No. 11 seed in 2-1A Regional 4 and will travel to Stanton County on Thursday.

In Class 3A, Russell/Victoria (19-5) is the top seed in Regional 4-1 and will host No. 16 Minneapolis (4-18) on Wednesday, May 13.
The winner will face either No. 8 Southwestern Heights (12-11) or No. 9 Ellinwood (10-12) in the semifinals.
Ellis/Quinter (16-8) earned the No. 4 seed on the bottom side of the bracket and will host No. 13 Nickerson (9-17) on Wednesday.
The winner will face either No. 5 Holcomb (15-9) or No. 12 Sylvan-Lucas/Lincoln (7-13).
