Paul B. Hines, 78, passed away December 27, 2020, at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned,
He was born October 7, 1942, in Brookville; the son of Bernard and Emma Bealby Hines. A longtime area resident, he was a diesel mechanic for Gibson-Titus-Stafford, which later became Doonan Peterbilt of Great Bend. They moved to Nebraska, then in 1999 moved to Salina where he worked at Kenworth, then moved back to Larned from Salina in 2017.
On October 9, 1966, he married Carolyn Felsted in Larned. She passed away September 30, 2020.
Survivors include; two sons; Richard Lee (Stacy) Hines, Larned and Jeffrey P. Hines (Chelsey Ruiz), Salina; a brother, Herb (Sandy) Henderson, Peculiar, MO; a brother-in-law, Alan (Mary Jo) Felsted, Orlando; a sister-in-law, Dianne Morse (John Johnson), Great Bend; three grandchildren, Jefery Bray, Emma Hines, Sebastian Hines; and one great grandson, Isaiah Bray and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife and a son, Curtis Hines.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. A private family graveside inurnment will be held at a later date.
