Shayla Peck will remove Interim from her title as she becomes the City of Russell's Treasurer effective March 8, 2023

Shayla was born and raised in Russell, graduated from Russell High School, and attended Fort Hays State University, where in 2012, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Accounting Degree. Shayla has financial accounting and management experience in the private and public sectors. 

Shayla is a St. John Lutheran Church member and has been the church bookkeeper for the past three years. She is married to Dustin Peck, with whom she has three&nbsp;girls – Reece, Alana and Beckett.
