Eleanor Sanders, 73, passed away August 22, 2021, at Salina Regional Medical Center, Salina.

She was born June 16, 1948, in Kinsley, the daughter of Clemente Rincon and Lucille Mariche Perez.

A lifetime resident of Kinsley and Larned, she worked at Larned State Hospital. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned, where she was very active and served as a eucharist minister. She was a member of Ft Larned Sam’s Club and the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital Auxiliary. She spent her time sewing crocheting, and embroidering tea towels and really enjoyed camping, watching her grandkids play sports, and she loved her shoes and clothes.

On November 24, 1973, she Married Leon Sanders at Larned; he survives.

Other survivors include: daughter, Felicia (Kevin) Davis, Larned; two sons, Brian (Tonya) Sanders, Larned, Tyson Sanders, Great Bend; sister, Linda (Frank) Garcia, Wichita; two brothers, Raymond (Cindy) Perez, Anthony (Darla) Perez; and six grandchildren: Australia, Saber, Eian, Levi, Patience, and Jaxten.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Trinidad Ruiz, Jane Bronson; and seven brothers, Felix Perez, Guadalupe Perez Sr, Pete Perez, Francisco Perez, John Perez, Terry Perez, and Manuel Perez.

Funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned, with Father Bernard Felix presiding. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, with a vigil and rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. Cremation will take place following the service and inurnment will be at a later date in Larned Cemetery, Larned.
