Kansas deputy found ecstasy during traffic stop

 JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. –Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations following a traffic stop.

Just after 7a.m. Oct. 20, a Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2024 Nissan Altima for alleged multiple traffic infractions on U.S. Highway 75 near 223rd Lane, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

 The driver was identified as 37-year-old Katrina Chantel Barthelemy of Wichita, Kansas. A probable cause search was conducted and resulted in the discovery of ecstasy, hallucinogenic drugs and drug paraphernalia. Barthelemy was booked into the Jackson County Jail on requested charges of possession of ecstasy, possession of hallucinogenic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
