OSAGE COUNTY —A Kansas woman died in an accident just before 5:30p.m. Saturday in Osage County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2001 GMC Yukon driven by Lesley Ann Berner, 43, Osage City, was eastbound on U.S. 56 just east of Z Road.
The driver lost control of the vehicle. It traveled into the south ditch. The driver attempted to correct back onto the highway and the SUV overturned.
Berner was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to the morgue in Shawnee County. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
