KANSAS CITY (AP) — A former Oak Grove High School teacher has been charged with sending pornographic videos to female students and attempting to persuade one student to have sex with him, the Jackson County Prosecutor's office announced Friday.

Ethan C. Grumke, 27, taught math and coached football and track at Oak Grove. He was arrested Friday in Colorado.

Grumke was charged with attempting to make sexual contact with a student, misdemeanor stalking and two counts of furnishing pornographic material.

School and police officials in Oak Grove began investigating Grumke in May after being alerted by the Missouri Children's Division about allegations that he had furnished pornographic videos to female students, prosecutors said.

The stalking charge alleges he sent inappropriate pictures and videos to one student on his social media accounts. Court documents indicate Grumke admitted to Oak Grove officials that he sent the videos.
