Court-Martial: Kan. airman admits to 3 instances of domestic violence

MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. – An Airman assigned to McConnell Air Force Base pleaded guilty to three specifications of domestic violence and was sentenced during a general court-martial at the base on Tuesday, according to a media release from the air base.

Tech. Sgt. Jacob Frye, 722nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, pleaded guilty to three violations of Article 128b of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which describes acts of violence against an intimate partner. 

The presiding military judge sentenced Frye to 12 months in confinement, a reprimand, and a reduction in rank to airman basic. He will be confined in a military facility, with location to be determined.
