WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Law enforcement investigating after a person was found dead on a street in Kansas City, Kansas have identified the victim as 34-year-old Elcena Painter, according to a statement from Kansas City, Kansas police.
Just before 5a.m. Wednesday, callers reported a person lying on the street in the 4600 Block of Greeley Avenue. When officers arrived, they found Painter. Police did not know how the victim died.
This incident remains under investigation by the KCKPD Major Case and Traffic Investigation Units.
