KANSAS CITY—The August primary election is next Tuesday. There is a crowded field for the Democrat nomination for the United State's Senate.
On Tuesday, the mayor of Kansas City, Missouri posted a video giving an endorsement to Adam Hamilton.
Hamilton, pastor of the Resurrection United Methodist Church in Kansas City, entered the U.S. Senate campaign in late April. If he wins he'll face incumbent GOP Kansas U.S. Senator Roger Marshall in the November election.
Six other Democrats are also hoping to earn the Democrat nomination to face Marshall including Noah Taylor, Christy Davis, Patrick Schmidt, Anne Parelkar, Erik Murray and Sandy Spidel Neumann.
