WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a stabbing that resulted in an officer-involved shooting.
On Tuesday afternoon, police responded to a stabbing in the Argentine neighborhood of Wyandotte County, according to a statement from KCK Police.
During a confrontation with the suspect shots were fired by officers. The suspect was wounded. EMS transported the suspect and female victim to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Officers were not injured.
Police later located an additional stabbing victim, that appears to be related to the initial stabbing. The victim was pronounced deceased near the shooting scene.
