FINNEY COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 6:30p.m. Friday in Finney County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Ford F150 driven by Alondra Felix, 28, Garden City, was westbound in the 4300 Block of U.S. 50. The pickup attempted to turn south in front of an eastbound 2009 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Jeff Bogner, 50, Cimmaron, into the trailer park at 4170 E U.S. 50. The motorcycle struck the passenger side of the pickup.
EMS transported Bogner to St. Catherine's where he was pronounced deceased just before 8p.m. Felix was not injured and not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP. Bogner was not wearing a helmet, according to the crash log report.
