RILEY COUNTY— A Bergman elementary school student waiting for the school bus in Manhattan was hit by a vehicle Wednesday, according to the Riley County Police Department spokesman Aaron Wintermote.
Police responded to the call just after 8a.m.. at the intersection of Tuttle Cove and Terra Heights Drive.
EMS transported the 7-year-old boy to Via Christi in Manhattan. Lifestar then airlifted the boy to Stormont Vail in Topeka. Police had no update on the child's condition just after 10:30a.m.
