With many COVID-related restrictions lifted in Ellis County, the Wild West Festival committee is working with local officials to put on a free concert Friday, July 3 and Main Street parade on Saturday, July 4 to accompany the holiday weekend’s fireworks show.

In addition, the Wild West Festival 5K is planned for the morning of July 4.

The event committee has partnered with the Downtown Hays Development Corporation for two days of activities, “Fourth of July on the Bricks.” All events have ample opportunities for social distancing so participants can feel comfortable and stay safe.
