CRAWFORD COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting and working to locate a suspect.

Aaron Swink, 39, is described as  6-foot tall, 200 pounds and should be considered armed and dangerous, according to the Crawford County Sheriff.

Swink is the suspect in several shootings that occurred late Monday night and early Tuesday morning.

He was last seen in southeast city limits of Pittsburg on south Rouse entering the woods. There is a large law enforcement presence in that area. 

Swink has previous convictions for kidnapping and aggravated battery, according to the Kansas Dept of Corrections and was reported as an absconder March 6.
